The right car at the right price.
We're an independent used car dealership on S 356th Street in Federal Way. We keep a small inventory so we can carefully inspect every vehicle before it's listed for sale. Our prices are posted online, with no hidden fees or surprise add-ons.
Inspected before it's listed
Every vehicle is inspected before it's listed for sale, including the brakes, tires, fluids, suspension, and a road test. A copy of the inspection is included with the vehicle.
Clean titles and transparent history
Every vehicle comes with a free history report. If there's something you should know about a vehicle's history, we'll tell you upfront.
One person from start to finish
The person who helps you from the beginning will stay with you throughout the entire buying process. No unnecessary handoffs or high-pressure sales tactics.
Financing options for different credit situations
We work with credit unions, banks, and other lenders to help you explore available financing options.

How buying from us works
Buying a used car shouldn't be complicated. Here's what you can expect when you buy from Chello Auto Sales.
-
Tell us what you're looking for
Call, text, or send us a message. We'll let you know if we have a vehicle that fits your needs. If we don't, we may be able to help you find one.
-
Take a test drive and have it inspected
Take the vehicle for a test drive. You're also welcome to have it inspected by a mechanic of your choice before you buy.
-
Review the numbers before you sign
We'll clearly show you the vehicle price, trade-in value, financing options, and estimated out-the-door cost before you sign anything.
-
Drive home the same day
Once everything is complete, we'll handle the Washington title and registration paperwork. For out-of-state buyers, we can provide the necessary temporary documents and paperwork.
Bring your own mechanic
You're welcome to have the vehicle inspected by a mechanic of your choice before you buy.
What you actually pay
Advertised price, plus Washington sales tax, plus title, license and a documentary service fee capped by state law. That is the whole list. Nothing gets added at signing.
Financing options for different credit situations

Trading in?
Send us the year, make, model and mileage and we will come back with a real figure based on what your car actually sells for at auction and on our lot, not a range that shrinks when you show up.
- Trade equity comes straight off the purchase price
- Washington sales tax is only charged on the difference
- We will take it even if you are not buying from us
Just want to sell?
If your vehicle fits what our customers ask for, we will buy it outright, including cars with a loan still on them. We handle the payoff and the title transfer.
- No obligation to buy anything from us
- We pay off existing finance directly with your lender
- Cashier's cheque or same-day bank transfer
Common questions
Can I take the car to my own mechanic before buying?
Yes, and we encourage it. Arrange a pre-purchase inspection at any independent shop and we will get the vehicle there or let you take it. If a dealer will not allow a PPI, that tells you something.
What is added to the advertised price?
Washington state sales tax at your address rate, title and license fees at cost, and a documentary service fee capped by state law. That is the complete list. No dealer prep, no mandatory protection package, no market adjustment.
Do you finance people with bad credit?
Yes. We work with second-chance and subprime lenders alongside credit unions, so a low score, a past bankruptcy or thin credit history does not automatically rule you out. Down payment and income stability matter more than the score itself at that tier. Call us and we will tell you honestly what is realistic.
Does applying hurt my credit score?
No. Submitting the application on this site does not pull your credit. We review what you send, tell you which lenders fit, and only run credit once you tell us to proceed. When we do submit, multiple auto enquiries within a short window count as a single enquiry on all major scoring models.
Can I buy from out of state?
Regularly. We send a full walk-around video, the inspection sheet and the history report before you commit, handle the paperwork for your state, and can arrange enclosed or open transport. Washington does not charge sales tax on vehicles delivered out of state. You pay tax when you register at home.
Do you take trade-ins with a loan still on them?
Yes, and it is very common. We contact your lender for the ten-day payoff and settle the loan directly. Any equity goes toward your purchase. If you owe more than it is worth, we will show you exactly what rolling the difference forward does to your payment before you decide.

What actually gets added to a used car price in Washington

Why all-wheel drive matters less in Washington than you think
AWD helps you go. It does not help you stop. Here is where it actually earns its cost in the Puget Sound region, and where good tyres beat it outright.

How to read a vehicle history report properly
A clean report is not the same as a clean car. The five things worth looking at, and the two that most buyers over-weight.
