Every vehicle goes through a detailed inspection and preparation process before it's listed for sale. Here's what we check from the time we purchase a vehicle until it's ready for our customers.
1. Vehicle History and Title Check
Before purchasing a vehicle, we review its history report and check for branded titles, reported accidents, odometer discrepancies, liens, and other important records. We do not purchase vehicles with structural damage, flood history, or major history issues we cannot verify.
2. Mechanical Inspection
We inspect the engine, transmission, cooling system, belts, hoses, mounts, CV joints, wheel bearings, exhaust system, and other major components. We also perform a diagnostic scan to check for current and previous trouble codes.
3. Brakes, Tires and Suspension
We inspect the brake pads and rotors, check tire condition and tread depth, and examine the suspension and steering components. If something needs attention, we address it before the vehicle is listed.
4. Road Test
Every vehicle is road-tested in real driving conditions, including highway and stop-and-go traffic when appropriate. We check acceleration, shifting, braking, steering, vibration, and the vehicle's electrical features.
5. Reconditioning
Any necessary repairs or maintenance identified during the inspection are completed before the vehicle is offered for sale. The vehicle is then thoroughly cleaned and detailed inside and out.
6. Photography and Pricing
Once the vehicle is inspected and ready for sale, we photograph it and price it based on current market conditions and comparable vehicles.
