Questions and answers

Buying
Can I take the car to my own mechanic before buying?
Yes, and we encourage it. Arrange a pre-purchase inspection at any independent shop and we will get the vehicle there or let you take it. If a dealer will not allow a PPI, that tells you something.
What is added to the advertised price?
Washington state sales tax at your address rate, title and license fees at cost, and a documentary service fee capped by state law. That is the complete list. No dealer prep, no mandatory protection package, no market adjustment.
Can I buy from out of state?
Regularly. We send a full walk-around video, the inspection sheet and the history report before you commit, handle the paperwork for your state, and can arrange enclosed or open transport. Washington does not charge sales tax on vehicles delivered out of state. You pay tax when you register at home.
Do you hold a vehicle with a deposit?
Yes. A refundable deposit holds a vehicle for up to 48 hours while you arrange financing or travel. It is fully refundable if you decide not to buy. We put that in writing on the receipt.
Can I reserve a vehicle before it is listed?
Yes. Tell us what you are after and we will contact you when something matching lands, often before it is photographed and posted. A lot of our inventory sells that way.
Financing
Do you finance people with bad credit?
Yes. We work with second-chance and subprime lenders alongside credit unions, so a low score, a past bankruptcy or thin credit history does not automatically rule you out. Down payment and income stability matter more than the score itself at that tier. Call us and we will tell you honestly what is realistic.
Does applying hurt my credit score?
No. Submitting the application on this site does not pull your credit. We review what you send, tell you which lenders fit, and only run credit once you tell us to proceed. When we do submit, multiple auto enquiries within a short window count as a single enquiry on all major scoring models.
Do you sell to first-time buyers?
Frequently. First-time buyer programmes through our lenders typically need proof of income, a valid licence and a reasonable down payment. We will walk you through what documents to bring so it works the first time.
Trade-ins
Do you take trade-ins with a loan still on them?
Yes, and it is very common. We contact your lender for the ten-day payoff and settle the loan directly. Any equity goes toward your purchase. If you owe more than it is worth, we will show you exactly what rolling the difference forward does to your payment before you decide.
How much is the trade-in tax savings in Washington?
Washington calculates sales tax on the difference between the purchase price and your trade allowance. On a $20,000 vehicle with a $7,000 trade, you are taxed on $13,000, a saving of roughly $650 to $700 depending on your local rate. Selling privately loses that benefit.
Warranty
What warranty comes with the car?
Any remaining factory coverage transfers to you and is listed on the vehicle page. Beyond that, every vehicle leaves with its inspection sheet and reconditioning invoices, and optional third-party service contracts are available. We will always show you the contract and exclusions before you decide, and coverage is never required to get financing.
Are your cars accident-free?
We reject anything with structural or frame damage, branded titles or flood history. Some vehicles have minor reported cosmetic incidents. Where that is the case it is stated plainly on the listing along with what was repaired. The history report is free and linked on every vehicle page.
Visiting
Do I need an appointment?
No, walk-ins are welcome during business hours. Calling ahead is worth it though. We will have the vehicle pulled up front, warmed up and ready rather than parked in the back row.
What paperwork do I need to bring?
A valid driver licence, proof of insurance, and proof of income if you are financing (recent pay stubs or bank statements for self-employed). If you are trading in, bring the title or your lender details and all sets of keys.
